Tu He Nadaan Chand Kaleyoon Per Kan'aath Kar Gayaa,
Verna Gulshan Mein Elaajey Tangeyeen Damaa Bhe Tha.
Aflaaq Say Layee Jaate Hai,
Seenoo Mein Samayeen Jaate Hai,
Tauheed Ke May Saagar Say Nahee,
Aankhoon Say Pelayeen Jaate Hai.
THERE IS NO WORD AS BEAUTIFUL AS ALLAH.
NO EXAMPLE AS BEAUTIFUL AS RASULULLAH.
NO LESSON AS BEAUTIFUL AS ISLAM.
NO MELODY AS MELODIOUS AS AZZAAN.
NO CHARITY AS MEANINGFUL AS ZAKAT.
NO ENCYCLOPEDIA AS PERFECT AS AL QUR'AN.
NO EXERCISE AS PERFECT AS SALLAH.
NO DIET AS PERFECT AS FASTING.
NO JOURNEY AS PERFECT AS HAJJ.
LETS REALIZE THAT ISLAM IS EVER BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT.
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness..... .....you
are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of
imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of
starvation.. .....you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof
overhead and a place to sleep...you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a
dish someplace... .... you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still alive and still married..... ...you are very
rare, esp in the United States.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly
thankful.... .you are blessed because the majority can, but most do
not.
If you prayed yesterday and today....... .you are in the minority
because you believe God does hear and answer prayers.
If you can read now, you are more blessed than over two billion people
in the world that cannot read at all.
"Then which of the blessings of your Rabb will you deny?"

Assalamualikum WRWB,
I think we as a Muslim need to understand the first concept in Islam which is Tawheed. Most of our Islamic brothers and sisters talk on the issues like Jihah, Music, Halal and Haram , Shia ~ Sunni issues, while they don’t even know what is the meaning of the T a w h e e d. Once a Muslim understand the meaning of Tawheed then he/she will understand whats right or wrong inshallah.
Tawheed in Arabic means attributing Oneness to Allaah and describing Him as being One and Unique, with no partner or peer in His Essence and Attributes.
The Arabs say waahid, ahad and waheed, all meaning one. Allaah is Waahid, meaning that He has no rivals or peers in any way. So Tawheed means knowing Allaah is One, with none like unto Him. Whoever does not acknowledge Allaah in these terms and does not describe Him as being One with no partner or associate does not believe in Tawheed.
With regard to the shar’i definition of Tawheed, it means believing in Allaah alone as God and Lord and attributing to Him alone all the attributes of Lordship and divinity.
It may be defined as follows: Believing that Allaah is One with no partner or associate in His Lordship (ruboobiyyah), divinity (uloohiyyah) or names and attributes (al-asma’ wa’l-sifaat).
This word (Tawheed) and its derivatives are used with this meaning in the Qur’aan and Sunnah. For example:
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Say (O Muhammad): He is Allaah, (the) One [Ahad].
2. Allaah‑us‑Samad [Allaah — the Self‑Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, (He neither eats nor drinks)].
3. He begets not, nor was He begotten.
4. And there is none co‑equal or comparable unto Him”
[al-Ikhlaas 112:1-3]
“And your Ilaah (God) is One Ilaah [ilaahun waahidun] (God — Allaah), Laa Ilaaha illa Huwa (there is none who has the right to be worshipped but He), the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful”
[al-Baqarah 2:163]
“Surely, disbelievers are those who said: ‘Allaah is the third of the three (in a Trinity).’ But there is no Ilaah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilaah [ilaahun waahidun] (God —Allaah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them”
[al-Maa'idah 5:73]
And there are many similar verses.
In Saheeh al-Bukhaari (7372) and Saheeh Muslim (19) it is narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent Mu’aadh ibn Jabal to Yemen, he said to him: “You are going to people from among the People of the Book, so let the first thing to which you call them be belief in Allaah alone (Tawheed). If they accept that, then tell them that Allaah has enjoined on them five prayers every day and night. If they pray then tell them that Allaah has enjoined on them zakaah from their wealth to be taken from their rich and given to their poor. If they agree to that then take it from them but avoid the best of people’s wealth.”
Inshaallah, in my next blog i try to mention the categories of Tawheed.
Jazakallah khair
Federer ends Nadal's clay streak:
Federer had never beaten Nadal on clay before.Roger Federer beat nemesis Rafael Nadal 2-6 6-2 6-0 to win his fourth Hamburg Masters title and end the Spaniard's record run of 81 straight wins on clay.
Nadal's 81-match winning streak on clay was an all-surface record.
The world number two Nadal had won 13 consecutive tournaments on clay.
For World number one Federer, this is his first title on clay.Atlast he made it and his victory was worthy. He have few tensions during this tourney specially of playing without any coach.
It will be interesting to see how they both react in the French Open.
A poem which is so pratical:
Funny how $10 looks so big when we take it to masjid and so small when we take it to the store.
Funny how big an hour serving God looks and how small 60 mintues are when spent playing golf, fishing or playing soccer.
Funny how laborious it is to read a juzz in the Quran and how easy it is to read - 2-300 pages of a best selling novel.
Funny how we believe what newspapers say but question what the Quran says.
Funny how we can't think of anything to say when we pray and don't have any difficulty thinking of things to talk to a friend.
Funny how we need 2-3 weeks to fit an islamic event into our schedule, but can adjust it for a social event at the last moment.
Funny isn't it?

SMILE!!
She smiled at a sorrowful stranger.
The smile seemed to make him feel better.
He remembered past kindness of a friend
And wrote him a thank you letter.
The friend was so pleased with the thank you
That he left a large tip after lunch.
The waitress, surprised by the size of the tip,
Gave part to a man on the street.
The man on the street was grateful;
For two days he'd had nothing to eat.
After he finished his dinner,
He left for his small dingy room.
He didn't know at that moment
that he might be facing his doom.
On the way he picked up a shivering puppy
And took him home to get warm.
The puppy was very grateful
To be in out of the storm.
That night the house caught on fire.
The puppy barked the alarm.
He barked till he woke the whole household
And saved everybody from harm.
One of the boys that he rescued
Grew up to be President.
All this because of a simple smile
That hadn't cost a cent.
...and THAT is the power of a smile! So smile away :)
The Messenger of Allah, upon whom be peace, said:
"Every good deed is sadaqah (charity). To meet your brother with a smiling face and to pour out from your bucket into his container are sadaqah."
Jazak Allah
