Do U Think A Muslim Should Have A Muslim Name???

Praise B To Allah (SWT):   Assalamualaikum Muslim brothers and sisters,

I think many people are confused to differentiate Islamic and Arabic/ Muslim and Arab. I can not understand when it started. Especial here about names. People will tell you, you have muslim names. The question is:

What are the muslim names?

Let me make a point here, If Omar, Abubakar, Ali, Othman, and so on(the companians of the Prophet MUHAMMAD (Peace and blessings of Allah be up on him) are muslim names, so what was Omar called in Pre Islam (before Islam), what was Ali called in Pre Islam, what was Othman, Abubakr, Abdul rahman bin Auf, and many, what were they called?

It should be remembered even Abu Jahl (laanatullah alayh) was his name Omar. Another atheist called Walid bin Mughaira and many were not muslims but their names are our names. My muslim brothers and sisters we need to educate.

The answer is there are no Islam names. What Rasul Muhammad (Peace and blessings of Allah be up on him) told us is to name our children with good names and tht's it!!!!!!!.

Hmm .. A very good topic, it should be in forum..

.. Well, .. Naam .. .. Islamic names ki murad yhe hai key.. Insaan aise naam rakhey bachey

key, .. ke os bache par acha asar pare.. Lekin aaj kal mein dekh rahi hoo .. 

Kaafi aise larkey hai jinka naam MUSTAFA hai, larkion ka jaise K hadija hai.. lekin

on par itna asar nahi ahi.. Lekin kyo nahi hai??. Kyo key onke parents ney 

onke kuch nahi bataya.. Is lye mein yhe samajh thi hoon key, naam koi sa bhi hoo 

itnaa asar nahi partha insaan par.. mera khud islamic naam nahi hai.. Lekin

ALLHAMDULLILAH, mein Allah ka jitna shukar karo otna hi kam.. 

Lekin jahaan thak hadiths mein ata hai who yoon hai: 

Hadith - Sahih Al-Bukhari 8.218, Narrated Abu Musa



I got a son and I took him to the Prophet(sww) who named him Ibrahim, and put in his mouth the juice of a date fruit (which be himself had chewed, and invoked for Allah's blessing upon him, and then gave him back to me. He was the eldest son of Abu Musa.


Shortly said select a humlbe name .. And if you are  able, so change your name to your new muslim name.. So in one point it's very important that you have a islamic


name like, MUSTAFA,IBRAHIM,SARAH,KHADIJA....
